奧克蘭華埠商店今天照常營業

 

 

【KTSF 陳瀚文報導】示威者聚集的地方,與奧克蘭(屋崙)華埠只是相距四個街口。在奧克蘭(屋崙)華埠這裡,有商戶表示最近的佔領屋崙行動,令他們的生意有所影響。

商戶之前經過商討後,雖然決定今天照常營業。但受訪的商戶都表示,今天的生意較淡靜。有商店職員指,平日大約正午的時候有很多人來買菜,但今天人流明顯少很多。

有商戶說:「治安又有關係,特別是示威,因此影響更大。」

另一名商戶說:「民眾很關心安全問題,因此他們今天不來華埠,所以我想這會影響商戶,但你要明白我們需要營業。」

亦有商戶指最近經濟已經不好,再加上一連串的示威行動,對小商戶來說是雪上加霜。但因為要付鋪租,唯有繼續營業。

亦有商戶說:「我們小生意,小生意會受影響,華裔又怕事,示威不要緊,最重要不要暴動,不要鬧事。你看很多停車位任人停泊,整個華埠受影響。」

另外大部分華埠的商戶已經作好安全準備,假如有什麼混亂情況便會關門。商戶說:「我們要看著,如果有什麼危險,我們便會採取行動,或者關門離開。」
