Yosemite National Park rangers are searching for a 60-year-old woman who went missing after leaving her home inside the park for a hike.

Park officials say Ann Lory left her residence in the small community of Foresta on Saturday morning and never returned. Foresta is located near the park’s western boundary.

The search is focused on the Foresta area. Park officials say about 70 people are involved in the effort, which includes dog teams.

The park is also receiving assistance from six counties and the California Highway Patrol.
