Two residents attacked in SJ home invasion robbery


A home invasion robbery in San Jose early Tuesday morning resulted in one victim being shot with a Taser stun gun and another being hit with a hammer, police said.

Three male suspects forced entry into a home in the 5200 block of Camden Avenue at 4:29 a.m. and demanded money from the residents, according to San Jose police.

A suspect struck a male resident with a hammer and shot a female victim with a Taser inside the apartment, police said.

The suspects fled the scene without taking anything and have not yet been identified or apprehended, police said.

The victims were transported to a hospital for treatment of their injuries, which were not considered life-threatening, according to police.
