The Chinese Historical Society of America Museum celebrates its ten-year anniversary in the YWCA building in San Francisco Chinatown. Visitors can see the lives of Chinese in the past through pictures and models.
Frank Wong, a Chinese artist, spent almost twenty years to finish the models. But he said he can never figure out how long it takes for him to make one single piece because the work is always in progress. He gets used to add details constantly.
“It is kind of take us back to our childhood. I grow up in SF. But I don’t come back too often,” a visitor said.
