Authorities in Central California are looking for a carjacking suspect who they say has repeatedly evaded arrest after being located by law enforcement officials.

Nathan Anderson was tracked to a home in Watsonville in Santa Cruz County on Sunday, four days after the carjacking. But sheriff’s officials say he fled on foot while deputies were setting up a perimeter around the home.

Before that, sheriff’s officials say he had been spotted on four separate occasions, but managed to escape each time after authorities deemed it too dangerous to pursue him.

Anderson was last seen driving a 1995 Honda Civic on Tuesday morning. He is wanted on suspicion of carjacking, vehicle theft, evading law enforcement and a parole violation.
