The first period of rain sweeps the San Francisco Bay Area Wednesday morning. The rains and strong and gusty winds caused hundreds and thousands customers no power. The largest ourtage is in Pacifica, where about 1,120 customers are without power. In addtion, the storm also caused the slow traffic during the morning commute, and at least 73 arrival and departure flights are canceled.
The second storm is expected to arrive Thursday and will last into Friday. It could have the flooding risk with as much as five inches of rain falling the North Bay.
The third will hit the Bay Area on Saturday and should taper off by Sunday evening.
