SSF man beaten, robbed in residential area

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (BCN)

A man was beaten and robbed in a South San Francisco neighborhood early Tuesday morning, according to police.

A delivery driver called 911 after spotting a man down in the driveway of a home in the 300 block of South Maple Avenue at about 5 a.m., according to South San Francisco police.

An unknown suspect or suspects assaulted the victim, a 38-year-old South San Francisco man, and stole his wallet and cellphone, police said.

His injuries were not considered life-threatening, police said.

There was no immediate information about the suspect, according to police.
