SF pedestrian hit by car in Financial District


A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle in San Francisco’s Financial District this morning, a police spokesman said.

The collision was reported at 6:09 a.m. at Sacramento and Battery streets.

The pedestrian was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police spokesman Officer Gordon Shyy said.

The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators, Shyy said.
