SF: Man carjacked by 2 suspects in Mission District

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN)

A driver was carjacked in San Francisco’s Mission District early Thursday morning when he stopped at an intersection, according to police.

The 37-year-old man was stopped at 23rd and Shotwell streets around 3:45 a.m. when two male suspects approached and one of them simulated a weapon and demanded he get out of the car, police said.

The suspects drove away in the victim’s car, traveling east on 23rd Street.

They had not been arrested as of Thursday morning. The victim was not injured but lost his vehicle and cellphone.
