San Francisco, CA - Assurance Wireless, The City of San Francisco and HOPE (Housing Opportunity, Partnership and Engagement) have teamed up to host a series of events designed to enroll eligible participants in the Assurance Wireless program. The eligible participants are low-income people, seniors, veterans and homeless.
Recently Launched in California, Assurance Wireless is a Lifeline Assistance program supported by the federal Universal Service Fund that provides free wireless service and a free Assurance Wireless Jax by Kyocera handset to individuals who meet federal or state-specific eligibility criteria.
With cell phone service, participants are able to seek employment opportunities, find housing and increase stability in their lives. More information is available at www.assurancewireless.com.
