SAN JOSE (BCN)

The San Jose Police Department is investigating attacks on five men injured Thursday near a high school in East San Jose, two of whom were stabbed at least once and three others beaten, a spokeswoman said.

All five victims were transported to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police Sgt. Heather Randol said.

Police are still investigating the crimes and no suspects have been found, Randol said.

Officers were dispatched at about 10:45 p.m. Thursday on a reported stabbing in the 1800 block of Darwin Way, a neighborhood street a block north of William Overfelt High School, according to police.

Police found the five male adult victims at the scene, two of them stabbed and the others suffering from blunt force trauma, police said.

The motive for the attacks is not known, Randol said.
