San Jose man found stabbed to death

SAN JOSE (BCN)

Police are investigating the stabbing death of 34-year-old Dusty Regier whose body was found lying Wednesday morning on a downtown street next to St. James Park, a police sergeant said.

Officers were called at 2:49 a.m. Wednesday to the area of North 2nd and East St. John streets and located Regier, who was unresponsive and suffering from at least one stab wound, Sgt. Heather Randol said.

Regier, a San Jose resident, was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no suspects in custody, Randol said.

His death is the 10th homicide in the city of San Jose so far this year, according to Randol.
