SF: Man carjacked in Mission Terrace Sunday

A 35-year-old man was attacked and his car was stolen from him in San Francisco’s Mission Terrace neighborhood Sunday night, police said Monday.

The carjacking was reported around 10 p.m. near Silver Avenue and Mission Street, according to San Francisco police Sgt. Danielle Newman.

The man parked and exited his car when two men believed to be in their 20s knocked him to the ground and punched him repeatedly, police said.

The pair then took his car keys and cellphone, according to police.

One suspect got into the victim’s car and drove away while the other suspect got into a white van and fled, police said.
