Crews are responding to a shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District Tuesday afternoon, a fire spokeswoman said.
The shooting was reported at 4:21 p.m. near Third Street and Revere Avenue, fire spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
She said medical crews were arriving to the scene as of 4:25 p.m. and that details about injuries were not immediately available.
An employee at the Bayview branch public library, located at that intersection, said it appeared there was a carjacking that led to the shooting.
The library employee said police had blocked off the street.
