San Francisco, CA – As of 11am Tuesday, San Francisco General Hospital has treated the following patients from the Asiana Airlines accident: Grand total of 62 patients. The largest number of patients treated by a hospital from this accident, 35 adults and 27 children
Total in critical condition: 5, including one child. Their injuries include spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, abdominal injuries, internal bleeding, road rash and fractures.
Total discharged: 50
Total in hospital beds: 12 – including the 5 critical. The remaining patients’ conditions range from serious to fair to good. These patients are 3 children and 9 adults.
No patients remain in the emergency department.
