Two other crew members didn’t see bright light

A mysterious bright light continues to come up in the investigation of the asiana airlines flight that crashed in San Francisco.

The head of the national transportation safety board revealed yesterday that the pilot of that flight told investigators he saw the light about 500 feet before crash landing.

But so far he’s the only crew member to report seeing the light.

“Neither of the other two flight crew members mentioned this light during interviews with our investigators and in the review of the cockpit voice recorder there is no discussion on the CVR of the light or of the flying pilot seeing a light.”

Investigators say the pilot told them he does not believe the bright light affected his ability to fly the plane.

Saturday’s crash left two teenagers dead.

The NTSB has not yet ruled on the cause of the crash.
