Hellas Leung joined KTSF in July, 2000, as a news writer news and began reporting four years later. Her live work as a reported included the London terrorist attack in 2005. At KTSF, she also was anchor and editor for the show "Hong Kong Weekly News." When KTSF launched its weekend news program in March, 2006, she began working as weekend reporter and writer. Hellas has been interested in doing stories that relate to people's daily lives.

As a student at Immaculate Heart of Mary College in Hong Kong, she wrote for the school newspaper. Hellas came to the United States as a foreign student in 1994. During her study, she had been working as an intern for the Sing Tao Chinese Radio where she was a morning news anchor. She was also a reporter for "Observer," a neighborhood newspaper in San Francisco. In May, 2000, she graduated from San Francisco State University with double bacherlor's degrees in journalism and psychology. At SFSU, she received the "most reliable reporter award." Hellas is now learning Spanish.
