Millbrae: Sheriff’s deputies investigating bank robbery

San Mateo County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a bank robbery Monday in Millbrae.

At 1:10 p.m., a man walked into the Chase Bank branch at 10. S. El Camino Real, approached a bank teller and demanded money, sheriff’s officials said.

The teller complied, and the suspect then walked out of the bank with cash. Sheriff’s officials have not yet confirmed how much cash he stole.

There were no injuries suffered in the robbery. Further details about the crime were not immediately available.
