Livermore: ATM robbery caught on camera


Police in Livermore are investigating an armed robbery at a bank Wednesday night.

The robbery occurred at an ATM at the Bank of America located at 4213 First St. at about 10 p.m. Wednesday, police said.



A man, armed with a baseball bat, approached a female at the ATM and demanded she give him her money.

Police said the suspect robbed the woman of an undisclosed amount of cash, as well as her cellphone, and fled the area in a red car.

The victim was not injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 30 years old, between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat and a black hooded sweatshirt.
