Chinese News at 10
After receiving a Master degree in Communications and Education from Columbia University in 2015, Josephine Lin jumped into the news industry with the belief that journalism can make an impact on the world. While as a general assignment reporter at World Journal in New York, she conducted in-depth interviews and produced engaging feature stories for online readers. Her skills as a journalist were demonstrated by the variety of issues she covered for the Chinese community. One of her online articles broke the monthly website’s hit rate record.
Josephine was born and raised in Taiwan. In 2015, she moved to San Francisco where she currently works as the producer of KTSF’s Mandarin- language newscast. Shortly after being hired, she was promoted to back-up anchor for the weekend news. It’s at KTSF that Josephine finds new learning opportunities every day. The San Francisco Bay Area is a great match for Josephine Lin who is a foodie, an outdoor explorer, and a wannabe chef.
