A state fire spokesman says he has received reports that 20 people were injured when a tree fell at a summer camp near Yosemite National Park.

State fire spokesman Daniel Berlant said he had received the report on Wednesday.

Gregg Rubenstein, director of finance for Camp Tawonga, said camp officials were assessing the situation, and he did not have additional details about the severity of the injuries or how many people were injured.

Rubenstein said no children were among the injured.

The camp is located in a remote area of Tuolumne County in the community of Groveland. Its offices are based in San Francisco.
