Dr. Howard Koh, Assistant Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Kiran Ahuja, Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (WHIAAPI) discuss three upcoming Google Hangouts that will be held in Korean, Vietnamese and Chinese on “The Health Insurance Marketplace: What You Need to Know.”
These Hangouts will provide an opportunity for the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) limited English proficient (LEP) community to hear from Administration officials about the new Health Insurance Marketplace and learn how to enroll in their language. The conference call will discuss the importance of outreach to the AAPI LEP population and highlight the ways in which the public can participate in the in-language events.
