Q1.Who do you admire most?
A: My older sister, Katie Meinhardt. She is the hardest worker and most motivated person that I know.
Q2.What is your favorite food?
A: Growing up, my favorite was always Italian food. Nowadays, I get cravings for burritos fairly often. Also, Chinese food cooked by my aunts and relatives.
Q3.What is your favorite song?
A: “Good Life” by OneRepublic.
Q4.What is your favorite hobby besides sports?
A: Reading. I am a big Fantasy fan. Grew up on the Wheel of Times series.
Q5.What is the first thing you will do if you won a medal?
A: Call my parents and share the special moment with them. I would not have accomplished any of what I have without them.
Q6.What’s the turning point in your life?
A: The day I started fencing. Little did I know it would so drastically alter my life and lead to all of the opportunities that I have been allowed.
Q7.Who influenced you most?
A: My parents. My mom was there making sure I practiced “proper footwork” from day 1 and have been there to guide me in the right direction.
Q8.What’s your definition of a perfect day off?
A: A perfect day off is hard to define. But enjoying an Olympic medal with friends and family would be pretty close to perfect.
