Forbes’ most powerful women

Forbes magazine is out with its annual list of the world’s 100 most powerful woman.

In the number one spot is German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The magazine sites her as carrying the fate of the Euro on her shoulders.

Merkel has appeared seven times at number one on the list.

Brazil president Dilma Rousseff landed in second place.

Philanthropist Melinda Gates came in third.

First lady michelle took the fourth spot.

And former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took 5th place.

Forbes said it picked women that transform the world in “fresh and exhilarating ways.”
