You’re not going to believe what some fishermen caught off the coast of California.
Check it out!
A group of fishermen pulled this out of the water 15-miles off of Huntington beach.
This massive mako shark is 11 feet long, 8 feet in girth and more than 13-hundred pounds!
The group is actually waiting to find out if they broke a world record.
According to Jason Johnston, one of the fishermen who caught the shark…says it took more than two hours and a quarter-mile of line to reel it in.
Once it got close to the boat it got really dangerous, then they had to put the gas in it and I had to reel it all the way to the boat we had to tie the tail up with a rope.
The shark is expected to be donated to a research organization for study.
