Along with millions worldwide, the Village Project will celebrate the start of our annual Kwanzaa celebration at City Hall, 12 Noon, on Dec. 26th. The seven principles of Kwanzaa (Nguzo Saba), with 14 free events taking place over seven days throughout San Francisco, will be highlighted. Each celebration begins with a spiritual ceremony, followed by a feast, live entertainment, and a lighting of one of the seven candles of the Kinara. A myriad of performances this year will start with Bernard Anderson & his Old School Band on Dec. 26th & end with gospel performed by Maestro Curtis & The Spirit of Love Singers (S.O.L.) on Jan. 1st.
