An experienced attorney offers free 15 minute appointment to help define your problem, get you started with a solution, and make a referral when needed. The purpose of the consultation is to determine whether or not you have a legal problem and to provide guidance on how you might be able to solve it. An attorney/client relationship is not formed, but your discussion will be confidential.

Do you want to learn or practice sewing? Register to learn with the help of experienced seamstresses. For beginners, Newark Library provides everything you need to get started and sew a drawstring bag.

If you have some basic skills, bring your own project to work on, building your skills while having fun and socializing. Newark Library provides the sewing machines and other equipment or you may bring your own.

Give Kids a Smile Day 2016

On February 18th, 2016, the SF Department of Public Health’s Child Health and Disability Prevention program (CHDP), together with the SF Dental Hygiene Society, will be hosting the Give Kids a Smile Day event from 10am to 3pm at San Francisco General Hospital WIC Office, which is located at 2550 – 23rd St. Bldg. 9. Children aged 0 through 10 years old will receive free dental screening with fluoride varnish, oral health education, and free gifts such as toothbrushes, floss and toothpaste! There will be more free gifts and giveaways and a raffle for a “Power Toothbrush” and various tickets to local museums and events! No Appointment Necessary. WIC Children are welcome!

位於三藩市的華埠公共衛生局 ( 前第四衛生局 ),將於今年 2月及3月份舉辦 加州兒童護理班  課程。這課程符合加州政府托兒牌照局規格,專為在家中作托兒工作者而設。加州政府規定所有家庭托兒工作者必須接受最少十五小時的兒童護理訓練。

在過去多年中,華埠公共衛生局一直為三藩市及灣區的家庭托兒工作者提供中文教授的  加州兒童護理  課程。用國 / 粵語教授的課程,將於2月20日及3月5日(星期六),上午8時至下午5時,假華埠公共衛生局舉行。課程需預先報名,收費為一百八十元,考試合格者,將獲得美國紅十字會証書三份。

 加州兒童護理  課程內容包括兒童預防性健康與安全;傳染病的預防;患病兒童的照料;預防兒童損傷;兒童急救技巧及兒童、嬰兒心肺復甦法等等。

假如你在家中或工作場所,遇到意外或受傷,例如骨折、中毒、燒傷、嚴重出血或中暑時,你知道怎樣辦嗎?你知道如何替他們急救來幫助他們嗎?

位於三藩市的華埠公共衛生局 (前第四衛生局) 定於2016年2月20日(星期六),上午9時至下午5時舉辦 基本急救班(成人心肺復甦法及急救法) 。費用為一百二十元。課程將用國 / 粵語教授。經實習考試及筆試及格者,可獲得美國紅十字會證書兩份。

基本急救班(成人心肺復甦法及急救法) 符合政府規格,適合從事醫療服務、建築或油漆行業等機構員工參加。參加急救班訓練,不需要任何醫學背景或資格。凡年滿十七歲以上人仕均可報名參加。

位於三藩市的華埠公共衛生局 (前第四衛生局) 定於2016年2月20日 (星期六),上午9時至下午1時舉辦 成人心肺復甦法  課程 。費用為六十五元。課程將用國 / 粵語教授。經實習考試及筆試及格者,可獲得美國紅十字會證書一份。

參加成人心肺復甦法課程,不需要任何醫學背景或資格。凡年滿十七歲以上人仕均可報名參加。假若你的家人或你認識的朋友中,有呼吸困難或心臟問題者,你更應抽空來學習心肺復甦法,以便在緊急情況下挽救你家人或朋友的生命。

The guest list includes Daniel Handler (Lemony Snicket), Nancy Cohen (The Breakthrough: The Making of the First Female President), Kevin Sessums (I Left It on the Mountain), and Kenji Lopez-Alt (The Food Lab: Better Home Cooking Through Science), among others.
