Alzheimer’s Education Seminar

The Alzheimer’s Association 2014 Chinese Forum will take place Sunday, August 24, 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the Quinlan Community Center Cupertino Room located at 10185 North Stelling Road in Cupertino, CA. Register online at or call 650-623-3143. In the 2014 Chinese Forum, participants will learn about the warning signs, risk factors, treatments and research advancements in Alzheimer’s disease. In addition, the Forum will offer practical suggestions for coping with common challenges such as difficult behaviors and personal care.

Presentations include: Understanding dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, presented by Chin Liao, MD, Geriatrician Chairman, Luke Christian Medical Mission USA; Problem solving difficult behaviors, presented by Peining Chang, MSW, ASW Community Outreach Specialist, Alzheimer’s Association; and Personal care with changing daily needs, presented by Annie Zhang, CNA Resident Care Coordinator.
