Girls Who Code (GWC) is a non-profit organization that encourages more girls to close the gender gap in the computer science field. Girls will learn to code along with other beginners in an open and accepting environment. In GWC, you will learn how to code animations, games and websites.

Girls Who Code Clubs are FREE programs for 6th-12th grade female students only.

Calling All Eco-Explorers! Youth ages 5-15 will be up to their elbows in fun, hands-on activities at Welcome to Wildlife. Each weekend your kids will be experiencing and learning something new about the park and the environment.

Learning through interactive experiences, guided park walks, and STEM activities, your young scientists will discover their ecosystem, know about the plants and animals they share this land with, and develop a sense of stewardship for the environment.

位於三藩市的華埠公共衛生局 ( 前第四衛生局 ),將於2018年2月份舉辦「加州兒童護理班」課程。這課程符合加州政府托兒牌照局規格,專為在家中作托兒工作者而設。加州政府規定所有家庭托兒工作者必須接受最少十六小時的兒童護理訓練。

在過去多年中,華埠公共衛生局一直為三藩市及灣區的家庭托兒工作者提供中文教授的 「加州兒童護理」  課程。用國 / 粵語教授的課程,將於2月17日及3月3日 (星期六),上午8時至下午5時,在華埠公共衛生局舉行。課程需預先報名,收費為一百八十元,考試合格者,將獲得美國紅十字會証書或美國心臟協會証書。

Bread and Rest with Master Baker Cobrina Grieco

A period of rest is integral to the making of delicious bread. Josey Baker’s Cobrina Grieco draws out this metaphor to discuss labor and rest.

Inspired by the exhibition Sabbath: The 2017 Dorothy Saxe Invitational, The Museum presents a series of gallery chats that explore labor and rest, our right to rest, and the long legal battles that entitled workers to an 8-hour day and weekend.

Cobrina Grieco has been baking professionally since 2010, when she graduated from the San Francisco Baking Institute.

FREE with regular admission as follows: General Admission, $14; Students with a valid ID and Seniors, $12; Members and Youth 18 and under, free.

“Give Kids a Smile” Children’s Dental Health Fair

Is the United States a ‘Nation of Immigrants?’

Join us for a talk with the prolific author and emeritus professor Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz who will discuss the complicated and complex history of the idea of the United States as a “nation of immigrants” she will discuss key components of that notion from the colonial period to the Hamilton musical. She will question the purpose of this mythology and describe what harm it may do to documented and undocumented immigrants today.
