SFJAZZ Girls Day

Join celebrated women jazz faculty in this very special workshop for female jazz musicians ages 13-18. Essential skills including ensemble techniques, theory and musicianship will be the focus of this special program geared toward emerging jazz players. All instruments are welcome. This workshop will feature many fun musical activities and will take place from 12-5pm – light snacks provided.

Come and learn the basics of line dancing

Line Dancing is great fun for the novice as well as the experienced because there is a wide range of dances from the simple 18-count Electric Slide to complex 96-count dances. In this hour, we will begin to explore this world-wide movement, learning steps to music that ranges from country and pop to Latin and the ballroom.

BookPALS Storytime

Actors from the Screen Actors Guild read some of their favorite stories in the exhibition Bound to be Held: A Book Show.
BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) is a signature children’s literacy program of the Screen Actors Guild Foundation designed to provide an opportunity for performers, gifted in the art of storytelling, to help develop a love of reading in children and give back to their local communities.

FREE with regular admission as follows: Members and youth 18 and under, Free; General Admission, $12; Students with a valid ID and Seniors, $10.
