Child Care Course

Chinatown Public Health Center will be held a child care course in January. This course consistent with the California Child Care Licensing Authority government specifications, designed for home child care workers. State of California requires all family child care workers must receive a minimum of fifteen hours of child care training.

The course will in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Held in Chinatown Public Health Center on January 1 and January 21 (Saturday) 8am to 5pm. Courses need to per-register , the registration fee is $ 180. The candidates will receive the American Red Cross certificate.

Topics will include preventive health and safety of children ; prevention of infectious diseases ; care for sick children ; prevention of childhood injuries ; first aid skills and children’s children , infant CPR and more.

邀請您參加由三藩市中華基督教長老會和華埠公共衛生局的華人營養教育與肥胖預防計劃合辦的–免費健康家庭生活講座/易筋班。講座將於2017年1月21日和2月4日週六下午十二時三十分至兩時三十分,在三藩市中華基督教長老會(Presbyterian Church, 925 Stockton Street, San Francisco, CA 94108)舉辦,幫助大眾瞭解如何培養身、心、靈健康,並以健康飲食和活躍的生活方式,保持健康體重、從而減低患慢性疾病的風險,如:糖尿病、心臟病和某些癌症。

Join us for a FREE Bully Prevention Seminar! Learn preventative action skills and essential self-defense techniques! The event is hosted by Master/Sensei James Carter, 9th Dan.

If you or your child are having problems with bullies, this is a great way to find out how to stop and prevent this from happening. There will be a discussion on how to communicate with others to prevent bullying in our schools, workplaces and communities, and a hands-on demonstration of simple self-defense techniques.

If your relatives or friends have difficulty breathing, cardiac arrest or heart attack, do you know what to do? DO you know how to do first aid and CPR breathing help your family or friends?
