Bike East Bay will lead each class on Tuesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m., on March 14, April 18 and May 2 (this one women-focused). Attendees will receive a free reflective vest.

PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS at Fremont Main Library

Fremont Main Library will offer a photography class– Finalizing Your Photo Files–on Monday, May 1, 7-8:30 pm. The instructor, Gerry Mooney, specializes in education, documentation, photo-journalism, portraits, and events. He taught photography at Ohlone College and has been teaching and leading workshops for more than thirty five years.

All are welcome and NO registration is required.

The Fremont Main Library, a branch of the Alameda County Library system, is located at 2400 Stevenson Boulevard, and is wheelchair accessible. 25th Annual Japantown Children’s Day Festival

Join us as we celebrate Children’s Day (Kodomo no Hi) on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Japantown’s Peace Plaza. This year marks the 25th annual Children’s Day Festival, so bring out the whole family for a fun day in Japantown! Participate in cultural arts and crafts activities, bounce houses, games and prizes for the kids! You won’t want to miss the cultural performances and storytelling of Japanese folktales as well!
