Girl Power offers two summer camps covering the Girl Power Program with fun experiential activities like yoga, guided visualization, free dance, a photo shoot, meditation, creating dream boards, drawing personal gremlins (no experience necessary), painting, acting, enjoying videos and more, all geared to raise self-esteem, encourage and enlighten with themes around the power of choice, being your own kind of leader, etc.

Teens are asked to bring a bag lunch and snacks.

Two additional afternoon only camps will be held June 23-27 (AGES 15-19) and August 11-15 (AGES 10-15) geared toward uplifting self-esteem building through art. Please see for info.

California requires all the child care workers to have minimum hours of professional training.  For those people who participate on the Child Care course on Aug. 2nd or Aug. 16th, American Red Cross will issue three certificates to the students who pass the examinations.

The 41th Annual Nihonmachi Street Fair takes over San Francisco’s Japantown for another exciting weekend of cultural and artisanal showcases on 8/2-8/3. The fair celebrates the diverse Asian American and Pacific Islander communities here in the Bay Area, and has established itself as a summer time tradition in the City. This event offers a wide variety of activities including ethnic food booths, a broad assortment of arts and crafts vendors, and even a Children’s World activity area, where kids can learn and play Asian crafts and games.
