ASC Projects is pleased to present Live/Work: An Alternative Showcase, a group exhibition about living with art and artists making a living, with works and wares by Mark Baugh-Sasaki, Craig Calderwood, Kristen van Diggelen, and Smith|Allen. In the style of an interior showcase, Live/Work features artists whose consumer wares directly reflect the creative vision, craftsmanship, and conceptual rigor of their contemporary artworks, highlighting both their commercial craft, as well as their content-driven gallery works. The exhibition opens Saturday, December 7, with an artist reception at 7pm and continues through January 18.

The Orchid Society of California, the oldest orchid society west of the Mississippi, is once again, holding its annual Mother’s Day Sale!

Looking for a special masdevallia, vanda, cymbidium, miltoniopsis, pleurothallid, phalaenopis, etc? We will most likely have it or can tell you how to find it. Find 100s of unique orchids that you will not be able to find at big box stores!

New this year will be vendors selling their specialized orchids and crafts: D&D Orchids, Napa Valley Orchids, T&T Orchids, Botanico, Paula Shiu Fighting Eye Jewlery and more to be confirmed. Also, besides orchids, find just about anything else since the event is open for members to sell anything else they wish.

Also, as usual, we will have a showroom full of prize winning orchids, orchid doctors to answer any questions, and plant dividing and demonstrations.
