December 28, 2 class times: 10:30am-11:30am or 3pm-4pm

What are all those 1s and 0s that make up binary code? And for that matter, what’s binary code? Students 7 and up learn how computers use this ‘digital’ language to send, process, and receive information. By using beads to represent a switch’s on and off states (1 and 0), students use code to pattern their initials in a beaded key chain.

Space is limited and reservations are required at least 48 hrs in advance. To make a reservation, call 408-765-5050 or email Include child’s name, parents name, age and telephone number. Parents must remain in the museum during the class. Class lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Presented by Intel Museum.
