Residents in a Daly City neighborhood are waking up to flooded streets and vehicles stuck in mud.
The area near Hillside Park was hit by a torrent of water and mud early Tuesday morning. Authorities are still investigating where it came from although the neighborhood sits below a water storage facility.
Television news footage shows at least one street caked in mud, with several vehicles completely packed in. KGO-TV reports that several homes have been evacuated.
