The California Republican Party: That’s too bad to let the Democrats to occupy this City College of San Francisco (CCSF) from the beginning. It is too early for California Republican leadership to put a nose to the Democrat’s academic failures; if the Accrediting Commission under Gov. Jerry Brown administration decide to close the CCSF with 900,000+ students to transfer the students to the nearby California state university (system) campuses; that’s the Sacramento’s Democratic majority to decide the budget and CCSF maintenance. Supposed if the Democrats led the Accrediting Commission decide to change hands to let the Republican leadership and the Federal Funding to takeover CCSF, the BIG difference is that the Republicans will 1) fire ALL the CCSF Faculty; 2) Republican educators will propose to change a 2-year Community/Junior College into a 4-year Community College to concentrate on “ONLY ONE” Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree program requires the completion of 121 semester hours to graduate; in order to compatible with the advanced career training courses. The Republican academic quality control to ensure this 4-year CCSF’s BAAS academic system and courses are accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree and the professional certificate are recognized by the Texas A&M University system’s (one of) the BAAS program, but NO more than the accredited B.S. or B.A. or B.B.A.
