Angelina Wong has been with the KTSF Cantonese Evening News since 1992. She is a senior reporter and backup anchor.
Angelina’s outstanding performance brought her awards and honor. In 2003, her news series on the history of Chinese Americans’ involvement in agriculture and fishing industry earned the best in-depth news reporting award by the New California Media.
In 2002, Angelina’s report on the Chinese restaurants won a Northern California Chinese Media Association’s outstanding award.
The Department of Public Health of San Francisco commended her reports regarding the dangers of lead poisoning. KTSF received an award from the Asian American Donor Program, due to Ms. Wong’s dedication in reporting the constant need for bone marrow donors.
Angelina received her Bachelor degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and later an internship in reporting at the Ming Pao Newspaper. She loves her job being a news reporter.
