Are you a non-profit or government agency looking for airtime on KTSF?
KTSF welcomes requests from community and government agencies for public service time particularly when it targets the Asian community KTSF serves.
If you have a videotaped public service message (PSA) suitable for broadcast, submit it to KTSF for review. KTSF accepts Beta SP in 10, 15, 20, 30, & 60 second versions. The PSA can be in English or Asian languages. KTSF may translate produced English languages PSA's, if suitable, into other languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Tagalog).
There are additional ways to promote your group's activities services on KTSF:
On-Air Community Calendars: KTSF produces Community Calendars (CC) which promote events, activities or services of non-profit and government agencies. KTSF accepts translated copy. All scripts in a foreign language must include an English translation as well. The length of CC's is 15 and 30 seconds. The calendars consist of graphic information with a voice over. Any dated material must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance and should include basic information about the event or service, i.e. sponsor's name, date, time, place of event, phone number, contact person and length of time announcement can air. Community Calendars are broadcast according to available time periods in the respective program language in which they have been produced.
On-Line Community Calendars: KTSF includes community event announcements on its webpage. At least two weeks notice is required.
Community Segment on the Friday News: Every Friday, the Cantonese and Mandarin newscasts include a segment devoted to community events. At least two weeks notice is required.
All requests for broadcast time Announcements should be sent or faxed (415) 467-7559 to the Public Affairs Director or emailed to newstip@ktsftv.com, psa@ktsftv.com or pubaffairs@ktsftv.com.
