National Business Development Manager – Full Time

KTSF-TV San Francisco, CA seeks a National Business Development Manager. Are you a pro who has a passion for developing national advertising business? KTSF-TV is the largest Asian-language television station in the #3 Asian Market. The Asian market already represents over 25% of the very affluent San Francisco DMA, with significant growth expected in the future. KTSF is an integral resource to businesses seeking to build their brands through connecting with Asian consumers.
We are seeking an aggressive and dynamic individual to pursue television and digital media ad sales with national advertisers. Ability to reach deep to find decision makers and to develop business beyond the rating book is essential. This position will represent all KTSF platforms (TV/Digital/Mobile), fully leveraging and transforming available resources to educate and connect clients with the Asian market.
Responsibilities: Identify potential clients, and decision makers within the client organization, and cultivate relationships. Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends, research, and Asian consumer potential. Work with Research team to create and implement consistent ROI and ‘size of the prize’ opportunity assessment for new clients. Help in creation of compelling business case to use across categories/clients that are not currently active. Sale and implementation of creative and promotional concepts that will activate client in the Asian space. Desired Skills and Experience: Must bring strong skill set in the areas of strategic thinking, analytical capability, coupled with business strategy. Extensive experience and relationships working directly with high level decision makers (CMO’s, VP’s of Marketing, Brand Managers). Able to frame and present consumer research. Demonstrated ability in working horizontally across different categories, clients, and internal teams. Must be able to work independently. Interest and passion in training others and building knowledge across the organization. Valid CA driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance.

Director of Content Development – Full Time

The Director of Content Development will be developing new workflow integrating advanced technologies – that includes Mojo. Assisting the news department in developing new programming. Evaluating, adapting, and reworking our digital content efforts including social media, KTSF apps, and website. Requires: Bachelor’s degree required with at least three – five years of experience writing and editing, preferably at the level of shaping content. Strong attention to detail. Effective self-motivator with the ability to shepherd projects from start to finish. High comfort level with both broadcast and digital content, including social media. Ability to handle a diverse workload while meeting deadlines. Some experience with Photoshop and website content management systems a plus.

Account Coordinator – Full Time

The Account Coordinator will be trained to assist the Sales Team, acting as a liaison between Traffic, Production, Marketing, and Accounting Departments to ensure orders are correctly placed, production is on-schedule, billing is correct, digital placements are as contracted, and resolve any discrepancies that may arise. The Account Coordinator will also be trained in providing and interpreting data from a variety of research sources such as Nielsen and Scarborough. The Account Coordinator will effectively manage relationships with individuals/groups of people with a regard for excellent communication, best business practices, speed, integrity, and a customer service approach. The Account Coordinator will be a strong contributor, an outstanding communicator, assisting colleagues with day-to-day requests. The chosen candidate will be enthusiastic and proactive, and have an interest in advertising, media and/or research. Proactively contribute to the success of the station, sales team, and management by being self-motivated, cooperative, and maintaining a can-do attitude. Work with supervision/guidance, with the ability to function as part of a team. Multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Chinese speaker preferred.

Admin Assistant/Receptionist – Part Time

KTSF TV is seeking a part time Receptionist who has a positive and upbeat attitude to provide efficient reception services, maintain office equipment and provide administrative and other support for the station. Job Responsibilities: Manage all reception and front desk duties, including answering phones. Provide excellent customer service and general administrative support. Schedule meetings and assist customer inquiries when needed. Ad-hoc duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum one year office receptionist experience. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Fluent in English and Chinese a plus.

Video Editor – On Call

KTSF is seeking a Video Editor. Must be able to speak Mandarin and Cantonese, write and input Chinese and have good English communication skills. Requires two years editing experience in a fast paced environment. BA degree in Digital Media or similar.
