HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

Bay Area TV station seeks motivated and experienced Human Resources Director. This position is responsible for day-to-day operation of the HR Dept. and develops, implements, communicates and manages all HR-related programs and procedures. The HR Director is responsible for providing direction and guidance to the management team on HR policies, procedures, programs and initiatives; the recruitment and new hire process; employee benefits administration; coordination of employee training and development; talent planning; employee data and reporting functions; employee safety programs and compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws.

Requirements: A minimum of 6 years of management/generalist experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field and/or equivalent combination of experience. Strong project management, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of all applicable employment laws and regulations. Prior experience in a media environment preferred.

Digital Content Producer

Job Description:
A fulltime position for an individual to coordinate the effective production and management of all digital content and services, including interactive applications on mobile and social media, related to the Chinese/English website, KTSF.com. Working closely with news, marketing, sales, and IT, this individual will ensure alignment on program goals and metrics, appropriate creative content and sales initiatives.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years’ experience managing user interaction on an interactive website. Must proficiently speak/write/type Chinese and English. Working independently or within a group, this individual must be highly detailed-oriented, possess excellent writing skills and be able to oversee multiple content streams in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in HTML editors and compliant language, Photoshop, Flash, Final Cut Pro, DHTML and Javascript preferred. Knowledge of the Word Press platform as well as experience at a news and information website a plus.
This hands-on role is based in Brisbane, CA and reports to the Director of Marketing for KTSF-TV.
