President Barack Obama’s historic trip to Myanmar is just two days away. KTSF26 reporter Kwokshu Leung brings the latest information about local people’s reaction to this huge event, together with a snapshot of Yangon before Obama’s visit.
1. The National League for Democracy has a branch office in Yangon’s Latha township. It is also where Yangon’s Chinatown is located. The office was opened in May 9 of last year. It was celebrated by huge crowds and Lion dance performances.(Photo by Kwokshu Leung)
