2013 Intel Science Talent Search Bay Area Semi – finalists

The prestigious Intel Science Talent Search (Intel STS) announced the semi - finalist list of 300 students from all over the country.  Among the 32 Bay Area’s semi - finalists, 18 of them are Chinese Americans.

The Intel STS recognizes 300 students and their schools as semi - finalists each year to compete for $1.25 million in awards. From that select pool, 40 finalists are then invited to Washington, DC in March to participate in final judging, display their work to the public, meet with notable scientists, and compete for the top award of $100,000.
