All lanes of northbound Interstate Highway 880 in Oakland have reopened this morning following a shooting that left two men dead Thursday night, according to police.
The shooting on northbound Interstate Highway 880 at Jackson Street was first reported at 10:36 p.m., according to the CHP.
The shooting shut down all lanes of northbound 880 and the Jackson Street onramp, according to the CHP.
Initial reports suggest one of the victims may have been shot in the head. Initial reports to CHP also suggest that someone may have been hit by a big rig after exiting a vehicle.
Occupants in two cars were reported to have been shooting at each other, leaving a Porsche at the scene riddled with bullets.
The roadway reopened to traffic at 2:34 a.m., according to the CHP.
Oakland police said no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and no suspects have been identified.
