The San Francisco Giants held an annual fundraiser for the Giants Community Fund . They also made many fans happy by giving autographs.
“Go! Giants!”
Fans in orange jerseys lined up outside a San Francisco hotel, eager to meet their favorite players and get autographs on their Giants collectables.
Autographed bats and baseballs were available for auction. All proceeds went to the Giants Community Fund which sponsors their flagship program “San Francisco Junior Giants Program”. It offers life-skill trainings for children in the Bay Area and throughout California.
Giants Community Fund board member John Gumas says $2-3 million has gone to various community services over the past 10 years.
