SFPD arrest suspect regarding home burglaries

The San Francisco Police Department arrested a suspect involved in residential burglaries in San Francisco and in San Mateo County. Albert Hernandez Jr., 44, is a three-strike parolee arrested on March 13, 2012 by SFPD while he was leaving a San Bruno residence with an armful of property. San Francisco Police investigators, working along with Investigators from Daly City PD, San Bruno PD, South San Francisco PD, Pacifica PD and Millbrae PD were able to work together and subsequently place the suspect into custody.

According to SFPD, in February, investigatora identified Hernandez as the prime suspect based on evidence from a burglary that occured in SF Lakeside District on Dec. 30, 2011, at which time Hernandez was on parol. On the night of March 13, police also served search warrasnts at Hernandez’ residences in Oakland and daly City and located property possibly linking him to many burlaries in SF and Peninsula.
