In observance of the 74th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre, the Rape of Nanjing Redress Coalition is asking for an apology from the Japanese government.

The Coalition is angry at the denial of the killing of over 300,000 people by the Japanese army.

The San Francisco Chinese Culture Center is going to hold a memorial next Saturday for victims of the Nanjing Massacre in December, 1937.

Bright Sheng, a noted Chinese musician, is going to present his piece, “Nanjing, Nanjing.” The event will be from 10a.m. to noon at 750 Kearny Street.
