Madagascar lemurs enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner

(KTSF by Angelina Wong)San Francisco Zoo threw a Thanksgiving feast for their 15 lemurs.  The menu included turkey made out of monkey chow biscuit; green beans; a fruit salad of apples, bananas, and grapes; sweet potatoes.  Each of them enjoyed a glass of apple juice.  You will be amazed how well the lemurs behave at the table!

Lemurs are classified as threatened or endangered species.  They only inhabit approximately 10% of the island of Madagascar.  The zoo created the event in appreciation to the people who try to conserve the Madagascar forest.
