應對災難必須注意三項要點
一. 預先計畫民眾應該和家人商討會和集中地
當中必須包括家門外的一個地點
和另外一個居住社區外的地點
以便在不能回家時仍能和家人團聚
二. 儲備應急袋
民眾應該為家裡的每一個人準備為期三天的食水和乾糧
並且還需要有手電筒電池操作的收音機和急救箱
三.保持最新資訊
民眾應該學習急救訓練和心肺復甦法並在地震發生時蹲下
尋找掩護和抓緊身旁沉重的家具留在室內
直到地震停止才到戶外空曠的地方
