KTSF Names New Hosts of Popular Talk Show "Talk Tonight"
Sing Tao Chinese Radio Personalities Bring New Voices to Long-Running Talk Show
July 15, 2008 (San Francisco, Calif.) - KTSF Television, the nation's largest Asian-language broadcast station welcomes three new hosts to its long-running talk show program, "Talk Tonight." Starting in June, May Zhu, Jiayu Jeng and Jaron Lin will begin serving a new generation of Chinese-language viewers while continuing to deliver KTSF's brand of high-quality programming. Both May and Jaron are current Sing Tao Chinese Radio personalities.
"Talk Tonight" is a live Chinese call-in talk show covering a variety of issues from local to international news, arts & culture, economics, science and medicine. It airs each weeknight at 11 p.m. Pacific on KTSF Channel 26 (cable 8) in the San Francisco Bay Area. Keeping to its signature format, "Talk Tonight" will continue to feature interactive, in-depth analysis of current news and trends that impact the Bay Area's Chinese community.
Programming line-up featuring the new "Talk Tonight" hosts include:
Mondays through Thursdays: Hosted by May Zhu ("Zhu Sheng"), "Talk Tonight" covers a broad range of thought-provoking topics related to U.S., Asian and international trends and current affairs. May, a top radio personality in the Bay Area with over 10 years of experience, has won multiple broadcast journalism awards. She is the senior executive producer and host of call-in radio show "May's News Talk" at Sing Tao Chinese Radio.
Fridays: Co-hosts Jiayu Jeng and Jaron Lin ("Hai Xiang") dish on the latest in entertainment and lifestyle on Fridays. Both hosts bring more than a decade of diverse broadcast and media experience to "Talk Tonight." Jiayu is the current producer and host of "Think Tank Education Radio." Jaron hosts “8:00 AM News” and "Life Plaza” at Sing Tao Chinese Radio as well as an online entertainment show at Sina.com (Northern California edition).
