The San Francisco Bay Area’s leader in Asian Language Television is seeking Account Executives to develop new business and service existing advertisers. The ideal candidate is energetic, positive and goal-oriented. Must be highly-organized and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Candidate will be computer/internet proficient, have a valid driver’s license, and have the ability to work as part of a team. Previous advertising sales experience and college education is a plus. Language proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
Duties include, air switching, recording satellite feeds, timing programs and maintaining program and transmitter logs. Knowledge of FCC regulations and one year of broadcasting operations experience required. Technical direction experience is a plus. Must be flexible and able to work various shifts including weekend and overnight.
KTSF TV seeks on-call Studio Camera Operator for live nightly newscast. Weeknights 6:45 p.m. to 11:45. Days are flexible. Ability to operate studio camera, communicate effectively in English and work with direction under pressure in a live newscast environment.
Projects involve shooting commercial spots and news assignments using ENG equipment. Requires experience in studio and field operations, experience in production and news, good lighting and sound recording skills, ability to lift 35 pounds and has an excellent driving record. Bilingual (Chinese) skill helpful but not necessary.
